Pet Ramalama Costume Walk: Make One from Your Cat or Dog’s Photo

Turn one photo of your cat or dog into the Ramalama costume walk: which pet photo works best, costumes that suit pets, lengths and credits, and what the video looks like.

Last updated: 2026-10-24

To make a pet Ramalama costume walk, upload one photo of your cat or dog in the generator on the homepage and pick a costume. The AI turns it into the Ramalama costume walk: a low shot of your pet’s paws and legs walking up to the camera first, then the costume reveal on the beat, with Róisín Murphy’s original “Ramalama (Bang Bang)” recording on it. You get a 720p vertical MP4 (9:16) with no watermark. Signing up is free, but videos need credits: 6 seconds costs 6 credits, 10 seconds 13 and 15 seconds 20, and packs start at $9.90 for 20 credits.

The clips above are TikTok posts by their credited creators, not videos made with our tool. The AI kittens dressed as the Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood are by @meowtakeover.

What the Pet Video Looks Like

Your pet walks upright on its hind legs like a person, in the costume, like the viral AI kitten versions on TikTok. The video follows the beats of the trend:

  1. Paws and legs first. The camera sits low at ground level, and only your pet’s paws, legs and the bottom of the costume walk slowly toward it down an empty street at night.
  2. The reveal. On the beat, the camera tilts up to the whole costume and your pet’s face.
  3. The pose. A few seconds of posing at the camera, ending on a close-up of your pet’s face.

The scene is newly generated by AI from your photo and a written description of the walk. It isn’t copied from anyone’s TikTok, and the exact look, setting and costume details can vary.

Which Pet Photo Works Best

  • The whole pet in the frame. A photo that shows your cat or dog from head to paws gives the AI the most to work with for the paws-first opening.
  • Face clear and in focus. A photo of your pet facing the camera works best, with nothing covering the face: no sunglasses and no hands in front of it.
  • Good light. A bright, evenly lit photo beats a dark or blurry one.
  • One pet, no people. Crop out other pets and any people, so the photo shows just the pet you want in the video.
  • Your own photo. JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB. Screenshots with another app’s watermark, and images with flags or political content, are turned down by the AI video service (your credits come back).

Costumes That Suit Pets

You can use any of the seven costume buttons: Witch, Vampire, Skeleton, Zombie, Ghost bride, Pumpkin or Black cat. Black cat and Pumpkin are popular picks for pets.

  • My outfit: if your pet is already wearing a costume in the photo, pick My outfit and the video keeps it.
  • Type your own: describe a costume in up to 80 characters, for example “a pet-sized witch hat and a purple cape”. A typed costume replaces the button you picked.

The price is the same whatever costume you choose. The AI follows your description, but the exact look isn’t guaranteed.

One Pet per Video

Each video stars one pet, so you can’t put two pets, or a pet and a person, in the same video. For a group, make one clip for each pet (or each person), download them, and edit them together in a video editor before you post.

Lengths and Credits

Every length includes the costume reveal. The shorter versions start later in the song and shorten the walk-up; they aren’t a cut of the 15-second video.

  • 15 seconds (20 credits): the full walk, with the reveal about 9 seconds in. That’s the same moment of the song as the reveal in the TikTok posts, which comes about 7 to 7.5 seconds into theirs.
  • 10 seconds (13 credits): a shorter walk-up, with the reveal at about 5.5 seconds.
  • 6 seconds (6 credits): the quickest version, with the reveal at about 2.7 seconds.

Timings are approximate, since the AI follows them loosely. Credits come in one-time packs that never expire: Single is $9.90 for 20 credits (one full 15-second video), Trio is $19.90 for 60 credits and Crew is $29.90 for 100 credits. There are no free videos.

Pet Costume Walk FAQ

Can I make the Ramalama walk with my dog?

Yes. It works with pets such as cats and dogs: upload a clear photo of your dog and it walks upright on its hind legs in the costume, then the camera tilts up to its face on the beat.

Does the pet video have the real song?

Yes. Every video comes with a stretch of Róisín Murphy’s original “Ramalama (Bang Bang)” recording, not a sound-alike or an instrumental, and it downloads without a watermark.

What if my pet’s video fails or I don’t like it?

A failed render is retried once automatically for free, and if it fails again your credits are refunded. If you’re not happy with a finished video, email [email protected] and we refund.

Who can see my pet’s photo and video?

Only you, in your own account; we don’t publish them or show them on the site. Your photo is sent to the AI provider only to make your video, and the provider doesn’t keep it. Email support any time to have your photos and videos deleted.
